Surefire Gas Services is a proper local firm: one engineer who turns up when he said he would, tells you the truth, and does the job properly. Two decades in, that has not changed.

Meet Sean
Thirty years on the tools, and a second generation learning them.
Surefire is headed up by Sean, a Gas Safe registered engineer with over 30 years of installs and repairs behind him. He started the business in 2003 and has built it the slow way, on word of mouth and repeat customers, many of whom he has looked after for well over a decade.
He is City & Guilds Level 3 qualified and British Gas trained, and he specialises in gas central heating and, in particular, fault diagnosis on boilers and systems. If another firm has given up or kept guessing, that is usually when the phone rings.
These days he is not on his own. His son has joined the business and is learning the trade alongside him, so Surefire is in good hands for the years ahead, and you will often find the two of them on a job together.

You deal with Sean, not a call centre or a rota of strangers. He gets to know your boiler and your home.
Honest advice, no hard sell
We tell you what's actually wrong and whether a repair is worth it. If a new boiler makes more sense, we'll say so, and if it doesn't, we'll say that too.
Fair, upfront pricing
Bigger jobs and installations are quoted before we start, free and with no obligation. Smaller jobs and breakdowns are charged on an hourly rate, plus a call-out charge, and we always tell you how we charge first.
We leave it as we found it
Dust sheets down, pipework run tidily, and the mess taken with us. People notice, and it is half the reason they call us back.
